Make Do and Mend
Because of COVID- 19 we have had to change the way we work in school. In order to stay safe, each year group has had to form a safety bubble to avoid spreading the disease. In addition to this, we are not allowed to leave the class room or use certain facilities (such as the dark room). While these rules may be problematic to some people, they create opportunities for creatives to explore different ways of creating.
We are working differently by not being allowed in the dark room and ohotos out side the class room and we cany share our matirials with people and we have to have certant stuff to use in this lesson
Restrictions and constraints can make us better by being even more creative by opening our minds and thinking harder by doing that me make things even better then what we already do
Artists like challenges they good at managing limitations there good at coping there really invented artists there good at making things with nit interesting materials and there good at transforming things.
Make do and mend suggests to me by coping and managing and trancforming things and mend things that might not work for your projects.
Photocollage experiments
What I did was I took pictures and moved some around and took a picture again every time then I made a 20 second video of the pictures that I moved

Marcel Duchamp and the ReadymadeMarcel Duchamp’s picture ‘L.H.O.O.Q.’ (1919) uses a postcard reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘Mona Lisa’ (1503-17). Describe Leonardo’s painting and explain why it is so famous.
She's not smiling and it so small she's in a dull background. His painting is famous because of her smile. Now describe Duchamp’s ‘L.H.O.O.Q.’ What has he done to the reproduction of Leonardo’s painting? What does the title mean? Why might he have added male facial hair to the female portrait? Added the moustache. Theres a fire down below. What do you understand by the term ‘readymade’? In what ways is ‘L.H.O.O.Q.’ a readymade? He took the original and changed it. |

Matt Lipps research
I like how Matt Lipps can make his photos 3D and make shadows with them.
Making Day #1
Evaluation
The theme that I was working with was based on an image of a character Goku from a programme called Dragon Ball. I would describe my final outcome as detailed, abstract and colourful. I was hoping to create a collage based on the character with the colours from the character I was pleased with the result. If I had more time I would have put more characters in the collage and I would add more colours.
I have researched various collage artists including one who used lots of colours and combined them all into one. I experimented with using lots of colours and I experimented with cutting my images into strips changing the way in which the colours mixed to one image. The final image is divided into three different sections in the way that it was photocopied. I would like to do a series of images with more characters, and I'd like to experiment with lots more colours.

Virtual trip to Dubai
These are my top 10 because they look really interesting and cool with all the construction the shops and all the space
The good thing about this is that I got really good and detailed pictures
How i can improve is that I could screen shot them on an apple laptop instead of my phone that way it looks much more stable

mind map of ideas
1 I'm going to print a photo of any choice
2 I'm going to change its colour 3 times in the photo copy
3 I'm going to cut them in strips
4 I'm going to make a background
5 I'm going to combine them
6 I'm going to photocopy the result
7 I'm going to cut them in strips or shapes
8 I'm going collage them
9 I'm going change its shape some how
10 finally I'm gonna finish it off with another background
11 I'm gonna do an evaluation on what i did and how i did and what i should do next time
12 Then I'm going see if I can make a better one another time and also hope i get a good grade for photography.
goku/kakarot dragon ball
I'm using these photographs as this is one of my favourite characters from Animé, Goku/Kakarot. It is a Japanese animation and I love the colours. I like the range of purple colour and the character is a great fighter and has some cool looking transformation. I have decided to use this as a basis for a collage. I looked at some of my previous photographs and wanted to find a way of combining both sets of images. I chose photographs that were simple and had similar colours from my anime.
I'm going to use some of my own images that I'd taken earlier. I chose them as they had the same colour scheme as the Animé images above. I also chose some images from magazine, I chose another colour which was opposite to purple.

EVALUATION
This is my evaluation on what I did for this assessment.
what I did was I cut my photos in to abstract shapes and started putting them in random places I also kept moving them around
and taking pictures of every little change in my collage I also used my own photos from my lockdown pictures for this assessment to make it more interesting instead of just animated pictures for my collage I also used magazine pictures for it as well to make it more random
I took this from one of my oldest friends that cuts what ever he wants and put random pictures in it but all I did was change it around and us google chrome my friends name was James from my primary called wood hill.
me and him used to always do things like this by finding random pictures that we like but this is some different work that I did but it is similar because I did choose my own instead of finding random pictures.
